dc.description.abstractA paisagem da Mata Atlântica apresenta-se altamente fragmentada, reduzindo habitats de diversas populações e trazendo prejuízo também para o solo, água e atmosfera. Os corredores ecológicos são formas de conectar fragmentos florestais na tentativa de conservação da biodiversidade. O trabalho visou mapear e analisar as Áreas de Preservação Permanente (APP) de nascentes e ao longo de cursos d’água no Corredor Ecológico Duas Bocas - Mestre Álvaro como possível agente de conexão. Utilizou-se o aplicativo computacional ArcGIS 9.3 e ortofotomosaico na escala 1:15.000. Consideraram-se como base os limites determinados pela legislação vigente (Lei Nº 4.771/65 e Resoluções CONAMA 303/02). Os resultados mostraram que as APP desprotegidas compreendem 1917,17 ha (5%) da área total do Corredor Ecológico; sendo assim, não apresentam cobertura florestal nativa. A área de remanescentes florestais do Corredor possui 19848,87 ha (51,72%), sendo considerada como vegetação a Mata Estágio Inicial com 1322,25 ha (3,45%), Mata Estágio Médio-Avançado com 17746,82 ha (46,24%) e Reflorestamento com 779,8 ha (2,03%). As APP que se encontram dentro dos fragmentos florestais possuem área de 2740,72 ha, sendo divididas entre: a) Vegetação em Estágio Inicial de regeneração da Mata Atlântica apresentando 185,77 ha, b) Estágio Médio-Avançado com 2554,95 ha e c) Reflorestamento, que se encontra sem a presença de APP de Cursos d’água. Se as áreas de Preservação Permanente fossem restabelecidas, cumprindo a legislação, elas se conectariam aos fragmentos remanescentes formando uma área de 21766,04 há em uma extensão de 38380,02 hectares, correspondentes ao total do Corredor Ecológico Duas Bocas – Mestre Álvaro onde os Corredores Ecológicos seriam, de fato, estabelecidos e disseminados por toda a extensão da área de estudo, permitindo o fluxo das espécies nativas e a conservação da biota local.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoThe landscape of the Atlantic has become highly fragmented, reducing habitat for diverse populations and also bring harm to soil, water and atmosphere. The corridors are ways of connecting forest fragments in an attempt to conserve biodiversity. The study aimed to map and analyze the Permanent Preservation Areas (APP), springs and along watercourses in the ecological corridor Duas Bocas - Mestre Alvaro agent as a possible connection. We used the computer application and ArcGIS 9.3 ortofotomosaico scale 1:15,000. Were considered based on the limits set by law (Law No. 4.771/65 and CONAMA Resolution 303/02). The results showed that the APP include unprotected 1917.17 ha (5%) of the total area of the Ecological Corridor, thus, have no native forest. The remaining forest areas of the Corridor has 19,848.87 ha (51.72%), considered as the Forest Vegetation Early Stage with 1322.25 ha (3.45%), Forest Stage Middle-Advanced with 17,746.82 ha (46.24%) and Reforestation with 779.8 ha (2.03%). The APP that are within the area of forest fragments have 2740.72 ha, divided between: Vegetation in the Early Stage of regeneration of the Atlantic showing 185.77 ha, with Advanced Stage Middle 2554.95 ha and reforestation is not the presence of APP in Streams. If areas of permanent preservation were re-established, complying with legislation, they would connect the remaining fragments forming an area of 21766.04 ha within an area of 38380.02 hectares, corresponding to the total of the Ecological Corridor Duas Bocas - Mestre Alvaro. Where the Ecological Corridors would be in fact established and spread throughout the length of the study area, allowing the flow of native species and conserving the local biota.pt_BR
