dc.description.abstract	O Presente estudo visa à análise dos fatos e fatores sociais que contribuíram para a aceleração do aumento da criminalidade feminina no Estado do Espírito Santo na primeira década do século XXI. Parte do referencial teórico-metodológico das teorias sociológicas sobre o crime e o desvio, com suporte no discurso das teorias da desclassificação, da exclusão e da segregação social, a partir da análise de dados estatísticos veiculados por instâncias governamentais e de pesquisa de campo realizada na Penitenciária Feminina de Cariacica. Conclui que o aumento da criminalidade feminina no Estado está vinculado diretamente ao tráfico de drogas, e que essa predileção se dá na medida em que a mulher se vê impossibilitada de acesso aos bens e serviços da vida moderna, após um histórico de desclassificação, segregação e exclusão sociais, corroborado pelas novas políticas criminais de combate às drogas, em especial a lei e a atuação de instâncias reativas de controle social.	en

dc.description.resumo	The present study focus on the analysis of facts and social factors that contribute to the increase in growth of crimes committed by awoman in the State of Espírito Santo, in the first decade of the twenty first century. Part of the theoretical and methodological frame applied in this study is correlated with sociological theories of the crime and deflection, with the emphasis on the discourse of declassification, exclusion and social segregation theories, extracted from datasets compiled by the State's Government agency and also from the empirical research in the Female Penitentiary of Cariacica. In conclusion, the increase of crimes committed by woman in the referred State is directly correlated with the drugs trafficking, as they find themselves unable to access goods and services of modern life, and this predilection is related to the fact that they faced centuries of declassification, segregation and social exclusion, corroborated by new criminal policies on drugs combat, laws and the action of reactive parties for social control.	pt_BR
