dc.description.abstractEste artigo tem como objetivo identificar os benefícios para enfermeiros que desejam transitar para a área da estética e o que essa transição oferece para sua carreira e prática profissional. Trata-se de um estudo de revisão integrativa de literatura, em 2 (dois) base de dados online: PUBMED e o Google Scholar com os descritores e suas combinações nas línguas portuguesa e inglesa: (Nursing) (Aesthetics) AND (Entrepreneurship), utilizando como questão norteadora: “Como a área de estética tem influenciado a carreira dos enfermeiros?”. Como resultados, foi possível identificar que a estética amplia a prática, proporciona autonomia e a valorização social para os enfermeiros, bem como, aumenta a oportunidade de carreira, com possibilidades acrescentando maiores ganhos de renda. Conclui-se que a enfermagem estética é uma promissora especialidade que contribui com o conforto profissional e qualidade de vida e bem-estar do paciente, entretanto, uma formação com embasamento científico se faz necessário para fortalecimento e profissionalização da especialidade de enfermagem estética.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoThis article aims to identify the benefits for nurses who wish to transition to the field of aesthetics and what this transition offers for their careers and professional practice. It is an integrative literature review study conducted using two online databases: PUBMED and Google Scholar, with descriptors and their combinations in Portuguese and English: (Nursing) (Aesthetics) AND (Entrepreneurship), using the guiding question: "How has the field of aesthetics influenced the careers of nurses?" The results identified that aesthetics expands practice, provides autonomy and social recognition for nurses, and increases career opportunities, offering the potential for higher income. It is concluded that aesthetic nursing is a promising specialty that contributes to professional satisfaction, quality of life, and patient well-being. However, training with a solid scientific foundation is necessary to strengthen and professionalize the specialty of aesthetic nursing.pt_BR
