dc.description.abstract	Realizou-se neste trabalho um estudo sobre a educação e a religião e sua representação na história e na identidade pomerana em Santa Maria de Jetibá no Espírito Santo. Investigou-se a constituição da história educacional e religiosa dos pomeranos imbricada no início da imigração à atualidade, permeando o período de intervenção do Estado e à dinâmica estabelecida pela Constituição de 1988 e a globalização. Constatou-se que em todo este período os pomeranos tiveram na tradição a principal fundamentação da educação e da crença. Posteriormente, analisa-se as especificidades educacionais pomeranas em Santa Maria de Jetibá. Nota-se que a condução da educação familiar na cidade se constitui de referências mais próximas à nacionalidade e a internacionalidade, já nas localidades do interior, a educação atende a primazia instituída pela tradição. A educação escolar por sua vez, a partir do Proepo, Programa de Educação Escolar Pomerana, agrega contextos relevantes da cultura local às demandas da educação municipal, estadual e nacional. Em seguida, através do estudo da crença, verifica-se que a igreja luterana, considerada a igreja pomerana, assume relevância por estabelecer uma estreita ligação entre a função religiosa e social na localidade, o que remete a essa instituição a condição de participante e em determinadas situações, referência da vida social de Santa Maria de Jetibá. Na sequência, através da relação entre a magia e a religião, constata-se que a presença e a permanência desses rituais entre os pomeranos se devem ao simbolismo e a representatividade que a tradição e a crença instituem ao cotidiano. Depois disso, analisa-se a configuração da crença pomerana no nascimento, casamento, e morte. Nota-se que esses eventos assumem importância e significado por se constituírem de rituais religiosos e mágicos vinculados à tradição pomerana.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	We carried out this study that is about education and religion and its representation of Pomeranian People in terms of history and identity in Santa Maria de Jetibá at Espírito Santo. We examined the formation of the history of Pomeranian People in the education and religion which is imbricates in the early immigration to the present, permeating the period of state intervention and dynamics established by the 1988 Constitution and globalization. It was found that throughout this period the Pomeranians were the main reason the tradition of education and belief. Subsequently, we analyzed the specific Pomeranian educational needs in Santa Maria de Jetibá. Note that conducting family education in the city is made up of references closer to nationality and internationality, since the locations of the interior, education meets precedence established by tradition. Schooling turn from Proepo, Pomeranian School Education Program, adds relevant contexts to the demands of the local culture of local education, state and national levels. Then, through the study of belief, it turns out that the Lutheran Church, the church considered Pomeranian, is relevant to establish a close link between the religious and social function in the locality which refers to this institution to a participant, and in certain situations, reference to the social life of Santa Maria de Jetibá. Further, through the relationship between magic and religion, it is clear that the presence and permanence of these rituals among the Pomeranians are due to the symbolism and representation that tradition and belief establishes the routine. After that, we analyzed the configuration of Pomeranian People in relation to their belief in birth, marriage and death. Note that these events have a major importance and significance by forming themselves in religious rituals and magical traditions linked to Pomeranian People.	pt_BR
