dc.description.abstract	O crime de Roubo nos acompanha desde o início de nosso processo civilizatório e hoje, no Brasil, atingiu números de ocorrências extremamente preocupantes, que causam diversos prejuízos materiais e pessoais, e por conta disso demandam cada vez mais pesquisas investigativas que possam auxiliar na resolução deste problema. E é dentro deste contexto que essa pesquisa define como objetivo geral analisar e investigar a motivação para o crime de roubo através de vinte pessoas do sexo masculino, recolhidas no Complexo Prisional de Viana/ES, que aguardavam a realização de suas respectivas audiências de custódia. Para chegar ao objetivo proposto acima, de forma satisfatória e conclusiva, foram utilizados os seguintes objetivos específicos: caracterizar os autores, e também as suas situações pessoais na ocasião da ação delituosa; caracterizar a ação criminosa, a vítima do roubo e os motivos de sua escolha; caracterizar também no passado e no presente, o motivo para a ação delituosa, o juízo de valor moral do criminoso sobre sua própria conduta e os sentimentos logo após o crime; e por fim caracterizar, no presente, o motivo para a ação criminosa, o juízo moral do criminoso sobre sua própria conduta, o juízo de representação dessa ação, os sentimentos logo após o cometimento, semelhantes praticadas por outras pessoas e fatores preventivos. A metodologia de pesquisa foi definida como exploratória e descritiva, predominantemente qualitativa, onde foram executados estudos em referenciais teóricos – sobre a violência e a psicologia da moralidade – e também entrevistas semiestruturadas, onde após terminada a coleta, foi realizada a devida categorização e a necessária análise dos dados obtidos. Após analisar os dados, constatou-se com preocupação que dos vinte presos, nove tinham até 21 anos; outros dez tinham entre 22 e 33 anos, e apenas um tinha 36 anos, o que nos revela uma possível relação entre a prática do crime de roubo e os jovens. Além disso, dos vinte entrevistados, doze se declararam pardos e oito se declararam negros, fazendo emergir a complicada questão racial presente nos indivíduos envolvidos com a criminalidade no Brasil. Foi observado também que os motivos para o roubo se dividem entre necessidade financeira e o uso/consumo de drogas. A heteronomia é o juízo moral presente na vida dos entrevistados, já que os motivos relacionados a não delinquir novamente se referem basicamente ao medo relacionado a ser preso de novo, e também o de ficar longe da família. Reverter essa situação crítica de ocorrências de roubo no Brasil demanda reformas sociais e morais de uma sociedade líquida, complexa e recém transformada pela pandemia de Covid-19.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	The crime of theft has been with us since the beginning of our civilizing process and today, in Brazil, it has reached numbers of extremely worrying occurrences, which cause several material and personal losses, and because of this they demand more and more investigative research that can help in the resolution of this problem. Within this context that we seek to analyze and investigate the motivation for the crime of theft through twenty male prisoners, who were waiting for their respective custody hearings. To reach the proposed objective in a satisfactory and conclusive manner, we characterize the authors, as well as their personal situations at the time of the criminal action; we characterize the criminal action, the victim of the theft and the reasons for his choice; we also characterize in the past and in the present, the reason for the criminal action, the judgment of the criminal's moral worth on his own conduct and the feelings soon after the theft; and finally we characterize, at present, the reason for the criminal action, the criminal's moral judgment on his own conduct, the judgment of representation of that action, the feelings immediately after the crime, similar practices practiced by other people and preventive factors. We employ the methodology of exploratory and descriptive research, carrying out studies on theoretical references - on violence and the psychology of morality - and also conducting semi-structured interviews, where after the collection is finished, we carry out the necessary categorization and the necessary analysis of the data obtained. After analyzing the data, we found with concern that of the twenty prisoners, nine were up to 21 years old; another ten were between 22 and 33 years old, and only one was 36 years old, which reveals a relationship between the practice of the crime of theft and young people. In addition, of the twenty respondents, twelve declared themselves to be brown and eight declared themselves black, bringing out the complicated racial issue present in individuals involved with crime in Brazil. We also identified that the reasons for the theft are divided between financial need and drug use / consumption. We found that heteronomy is the moral judgment present in the interviewees' lives, since the reasons related to not stealing again refer basically to the fear related to being arrested again, and also to being away from the family. Reversing this critical situation of theft occurrences in Brazil requires social and moral reforms in a liquid, complex and recently transformed society by the Covid-19 pandemic.	pt_BR
