dc.description.abstract	O presente trabalho visa compreender de que forma os assuntos relacionados à redução da maioridade penal foram tratados por parte da mídia impressa (jornais O Globo e Folha de S. Paulo) e se houve influência na construção de uma agenda política na memória coletiva dos deputados federais que aprovaram em junho de 2015 em uma comissão especial na Câmara a Proposta de Emenda à Constituição (PEC) 171/1993 que pretende reduzir a maioridade penal de 18 para 16 anos em casos de crimes hediondos. Para isso, foi determinado um recorte (março a agosto de 2015) para que as publicações jornalísticas pudessem ser analisadas e escolhemos os dois jornais de maior tiragem (Folha de S. Paulo e O Globo). A justificativa para este recorte é a tramitação da PEC na Câmara dos Deputados que, no final de março, foi aprovada na Comissão de Constituição, Justiça e Cidadania (CCJ) e em agosto aprovada em segundo turno no plenário. Como suporte teórico, esta pesquisa discute os diferentes conceitos de memória e a influência da mídia na formação e atualização das memórias coletiva e nacional. Debate a construção das notícias e o agendamento e enquadramento desempenhado pelos meios de comunicação de massa. Aborda a PEC 171/1993, a sua tramitação na Câmara e os bastidores da comissão especial que tinha como maioria parlamentares da Frente Parlamentar de Segurança Pública que ficou conhecida como Bancada da Bala. Frente esta que tinha como proposta prioritária a redução da maioridade penal.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	This paper aims to understand how the issues related to the reduction of the penal age were treated by the print media (newspapers O Globo and Folha de S. Paulo) and if there was influence in the construction of a political agenda in the collective memory of the federal deputies who approved in June 2015 in a special committee in the House the Proposal of Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) 171/1993 that intends to reduce the criminal age from 18 to 16 years in cases of heinous crimes. For this, a cut was determined (March to August 2015) so that the journalistic publications could be analyzed and we chose the two newspapers with the highest circulation (Folha de S. Paulo and O Globo). The justification for this cut is the PEC process in the Chamber of Deputies, which was approved by the Constitution, Justice and Citizenship Commission (CCJ) at the end of March, and in August, approved in the second round in plenary. As a theoretical support, this research discusses the different concepts of memory and the influence of the media in the formation and updating of the collective and national memories. Debates the construction of the news and the scheduling and framing carried out by the mass media. It addresses PEC 171/1993, its proceedings in the House and the backstage of the special committee that had as parliamentary majority of the Parliamentary Front of Public Security that became known as Bullet Counter. In front of this one that had like priority proposal the reduction of the penal majority.	pt_BR
