dc.description.abstract	A presente dissertação é resultado de uma pesquisa que teve como escopo investigar se o sistema prisional feminino do Estado do Espírito Santo trata as mulheres nele recolhidas sob a ótica da equidade de gênero. Para tanto, o marco teórico está fundamentado na criminologia feminista, incluída a contextualização sobre o patriarcado arraigado na sociedade brasileira, e por consequência, o seu reflexo no cárcere de mulheres. Como metodologia, a pesquisa foi alicerçada sob uma premissa qualitativa e levou em conta o ordenamento jurídico vigente, tendo como ponto de partida, em primeira etapa, a pesquisa bibliográfica exploratória de livros e artigos científicos através do método dedutivo. Em etapa posterior foram realizados três grupos focais com mulheres presas em unidade prisional capixaba, formados por provisórias e condenadas, de ambos os regimes fechado e semiaberto, bem como foram entrevistados servidores do sistema prisional e operadores da justiça criminal. Em complemento foram analisados os formulários e os relatórios das inspeções prisionais promovidas em 2018 pelo Ministério Público, Poder Judiciário e Conselho Penitenciário estaduais. Por meio da escuta de internas do sistema prisional capixaba foram colhidas suas percepções em relação ao cárcere e ao atendimento de seus direitos, notadamente sob a perspectiva de gênero. Também foi de interesse da pesquisa verificar se os agentes de estado envolvidos na execução desse serviço público, ou seja, os agentes penitenciários e de justiça criminal, reconhecem as especificidades de gênero e a necessidade de atendimento das internas a partir dessas premissas. Logo, ao identificar possíveis dificuldades enfrentadas na execução do aprisionamento sob a ótica de gênero e o que pode ser feito, de fato, pelo Estado na concretização desse direito, em contribuição, pretende-se que esta pesquisa estimule a elaboração de políticas públicas de equidade de gênero. Como resultado foram verificados importantes achados nas falas dos participantes ouvidos a respeito do objeto desta pesquisa, com a clara percepção de que os mesmos compreendem, de alguma forma, o que é equidade de gênero e o seu status de direito amparado pelo sistema constitucional e infralegal brasileiro e que, portanto, deve observado também dentro dos cárceres femininos. Em que pese se tratar de uma obrigação estatal, conclui-se que o sistema prisional feminino capixaba não proporciona plena atenção às especificidades de gênero das mulheres que mantém encarceradas. Tampouco há estabelecida política pública nessa seara e, por consequência, execução de planejamento ou plano de ação, voltados à temática, indicando perene invisibilidade e violação institucional à dignidade humana das mulheres recolhidas nas penitenciárias do Estado do Espírito Santo.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	The present dissertation is the result of a research whose scope was to investigate whether the female prison system of the State of Espírito Santo treats the women collected from the point of view of gender equity. In order to do so, the theoretical framework is based on feminist criminology, including the contextualization of patriarchy rooted in Brazilian society, and consequently, its reflection in the female prison. As a methodology, the research was based on a qualitative premise and took into account the current legal system, starting from the first stage, the exploratory bibliographical research of books and scientific articles through the deductive method. Subsequently, three focus groups were held with women prisoners in the Capixaba prison, formed by provisional and convicted prisoners, from both closed and semi-open regimes, as well as interviewed prison and criminal justice system officials. In addition, the forms and reports of the prison inspections promoted in 2018 by the state prosecutor, judiciary and penitentiary council were analyzed. Through listening to inmates of the Capixaba prison system, her perceptions regarding prison and her rights, especially from a gender perspective, were collected. It was also of interest to investigate whether the state agents involved in the execution of this public service, that is, the penitentiary and criminal justice agents, recognize the gender specificities and the need to care for the inmates based on these premises. In identifying possible difficulties faced in the execution of the imprisonment from the perspective of gender and what can be done, in fact, by the State in the concretization of this right, in contribution, it is intended that this research stimulates the elaboration of public policies of gender equity. As a result, important findings were found in the speeches of the participants heard regarding the object of this research, with the clear perception that they understand, in some way, what is gender equity and its legal status supported by the constitutional and infralegal system Brazilian population and, therefore, must also be observed within female prisons. In spite of being a state obligation, it is concluded that the female prison system in Espírito Santo does not give full attention to the gender specificities of the women it keeps in prison. Neither is there established public policy in this area and, consequently, execution of planning or action plan, focused on the theme, indicating perennial invisibility and institutional violation of the human dignity of women gathered in the penitentiaries of the State of Espírito Santo.	pt_BR
