dc.description.abstract	O esporte se constitui como um fenômeno sociocultural polissêmico, pelo qual são atribuídos diferentes usos, objetivos e finalidades. Assim, um dos propósitos e significados atribuídos ao esporte refere-se à inclusão social de crianças e adolescentes, principalmente em situação de vulnerabilidade social, a partir de Projetos Sociais Esportivos (PSE). Desse modo, os caminhos metodológicos desta dissertação foram construídos de forma plurimetodológica. Portanto, optou-se por estruturar cada capítulo com metodologias variadas, mas com um único objetivo e questão, que dialogassem entre si e o objeto de pesquisa em questão, o esporte oferecido em projetos sociais. Sendo assim, este estudo está organizado em torno da seguinte questão problema: Quais as contribuições dos PSE para a inclusão social e o redução à violência entre crianças e adolescentes em áreas de risco ou vulnerabilidade? Tem por objetivo discutir e analisar os impactos no que tange as representações de socialização que permeiam as finalidades do esporte ofertado em PSE. Assim é possível concluir que os PSE, tem se constituído como significativos meios para se propor saídas para os problemas sociais que afetam crianças e adolescentes de áreas vulneráveis e tem se mostrado como ponte de inclusão social, já que traz consigo alguns valores como: solidariedade, cooperação, disciplina e coletivismo, tolerância, respeito e amizade.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	Sport is constituted as a polysemic sociocultural phenomenon, by which different uses, objectives and purposes are attributed. Thus, one of the purposes and meanings attributed to sport refers to the social inclusion of children and adolescents, especially in situations of social vulnerability, based on sporting social projects (PSE). Thus, the methodological paths of this dissertation were constructed in a plurimethodological way. Therefore, it was decided to structure each chapter with different methodologies, but with a single objective and question, which would dialogue between themselves and the research object in question, the sport offered in social projects. Therefore, this study is organized around the following problem question: What are the contributions of the PSE to social inclusion and combating violence among children and adolescents in areas of risk or vulnerability? It aims to discuss and analyze the impacts regarding the representations of socialization that permeate the purposes of the sport offered in PSE. Thus, it is possible to conclude that the PSE have been constituted as significant means to propose solutions to social problems that affect children and adolescents in vulnerable areas and have shown themselves to be a bridge to social inclusion, as they bring with them some values such as: solidarity, cooperation, discipline and collectivism, tolerance, respect and friendship.	pt_BR
