dc.description.abstractThis paper reflects on social memory as an object of the Social Sciences, since it allows questions addressed by the area, in this case the issue of refugees, to be revisit in light of this theory. Linked to this, it is necessary to understand, in addition to the concepts that lead the social memory, secondary issues, but that surround the refuge theme, such as human rights and international refugee law. We also understand the premises of Brazilian laws, and how it was incorporated such international provisions into Brazilian’s domestic legislation. More specifically, it seeks to understand the life of these Syrian refugees living in São Paulo, through their social memories and how they interfere in their identitiespt_BR
dc.description.resumoEsta dissertação reflete sobre a memória social como objeto das Ciências Sociais, já que ela permite que questões abordadas pela área, neste caso a temática dos refugiados, sejam revisitadas a luz dessa teoria. Atrelado a isto, é preciso entender, além dos conceitos que encabeçam a memória social, questões secundárias, mas que rodeiam a temática do refúgio, temas como direitos humanos e o direito internacional dos refugiados. Como também entender as premissas das leis nacionais brasileiras e como elas incorporaram tais dispositivos internacionais em sua legislação interna. De forma mais específica, busca-se compreender a vida desses refugiados sírios que vivem em São Paulo, através de suas memórias sociais e como elas interferem em suas suas identidades.pt_BR
