Violência doméstica e a assistência jurídica em um núcleo de atendimento à mulher

Abstract

This dissertation analyzes the contribution of legal assistance in supporting women in situations of domestic violence in the nucleus of care of women at the University of Vila Velha-NAM-UVV. The work also investigates whether there has been disruption, modification and/or isolation of the violent relationship suffered by assisted women, considering the motivation to seek legal care, further investigating what would be the ideal model of a care Women in situations of domestic violence in their view. Methodologically, the study was conducted through bibliographic review and in the analysis of semi-structured interviews. We interviewed 10 women who agreed to participate, among the 48 who entered with lawsuits, in a total of 124 women who were assisted at the center of Care for women at the Vila Velha University/ES, in the second semester of 2016, in the two semesters The year 2017 and the first half of the year 2018. It is evaluated that the legal assistance of the NAM-UVV, in the aforementioned period, was able to develop its role effectively since all the women interviewed managed to leave the situation of violence, we also identified that they attributed to Legal assistance received positive transformations in their lives, and conferred on humanity and empathy as fundamental requirements for all legal assistance to women in this situation. In this sense, legal assistance has also proved to be an important tool in the construction of the empowerment of these women who were in a situation of domestic violence, recovering their dignity and exercising their citizenship.
