dc.description.abstractEstudos do campo da Neurociência aplicada à Arquitetura trazem à margem a tríade ambiente/corpo/mente (EBERHARD, 2009b) para compreender as relações entre a paisagem cultural e os afetos no ambiente construído. Nesse contexto, comportamentos fisiológicos são acionados por determinadas configurações ambientais durante o processo de percepção do lugar. Os estudos de rastreamento ocular têm sido cada vez mais úteis para as análises que envolvem a experiência do usuário, e sua aplicação é positiva para a assertividade no planejamento de projetos de preservação patrimonial. O rastreamento ocular é um instrumento efetivo para analisar a atenção visual das pessoas, de forma a determinar em que área ou aspectos desse espaço costumam focar seu interesse, ou não, por quanto tempo e a ordem de importância que seguem na exploração visual. Este trabalho usa a técnica para avaliar a percepção e o julgamento feito por moradores e visitantes da cidade de Vitória, tendo como objeto a Praça Costa Pereira e seu entorno. É importante dizer que, embora a quantidade de pesquisas, experimentos e publicações feitas no contexto urbano brasileiro com a ferramenta eye tracker (rastreador ocular) seja quase nula, lança-se mão dessa técnica, porque facilita imensamente a compreensão dos principais elementos que configuram a paisagem dessa praça, situada na capital do Espírito Santo, no Centro Histórico dessa cidade, lugar de muitas histórias, culturalmente rico e, por isso, de grande ligação afetiva. A escolha do tema justifica-se pelos estudos incipientes que articulam tecnologia na percepção do ambiente urbano. Esta é uma pesquisa aplicada, qualitativa e teórico-exploratória que usa o método do rastreamento ocular e entrevistas para a coleta de dados. Os resultados da pesquisa evidenciam a importância do uso da tecnologia para a leitura da paisagem. A pesquisa também traz contributos à valorização da paisagem cultural, a partir da identificação dos elementos afetivos que a compõem.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoStudies in the field of Neuroscience applied to Architecture bring the nvironment/body/mind triad to the margins (EBERHARD, 2009b) to understand the relationships between the cultural landscape and the affections in the built environment. In this context, physiological behaviors are triggered by certain environmental configurations during the process of place perception. Eye tracking studies have been increasingly useful for analyzes involving user experience, and their application is positive for assertiveness in the planning of heritage preservation projects. Eye tracking is an effective instrument for analyzing people's visual attention, in order to determine which area or aspects of that space tend to focus their interest, or not, for how long and the order of importance they follow in visual exploration. This work uses the technique to evaluate the perception and judgment made by residents and visitors of the city of Vitória, having as object the Costa Pereira Square and its surroundings. It is important to say that, although the amount of research, experiments and publications carried out in the Brazilian urban context with the eye tracker tool is almost nil, this technique is used because it greatly facilitates the understanding of the main elements that make up the landscape of this square, located in the capital of Espírito Santo, in the Historic Center of that city, a place of many stories, culturally rich and, therefore, of great emotional connection. The choice of theme is justified by the incipient studies that articulate technology in the perception of the urban environment. This is an applied, qualitative and theoretical-exploratory research that uses the eye tracking method and interviews for data collection. The research results show the importance of using technology to read the landscape. The research also brings contributions to the appreciation of the cultural landscape, based on the identification of the affective elements that compose it.pt_BR
