Relações de gênero e mercado de trabalho: os desafios da mulher mãe na indústria do extremo sul da Bahia

Abstract

The research focuses on industrial environments in the Far South of Bahia as a representative scenario to investigate the working relationships of women mothers, highlighting the nuances of female experiences within this sector, exploring the dynamics that permeate the work and social context such as the role of women mothers and their interactions in the work environment. In this context, the dissertation aims to investigate the perceptions of employed women in relation to equal opportunities, remuneration and behavioral attitudes faced after the birth of their son or daughter. As a methodology, the study consists of qualitative research, using the snowball sampling technique to select participants. Interviews were conducted with eight women who are mothers, all currently employed in the industrial sector. In addition to motherhood, the common characteristic among the interviewees is their professional activity in this segment. It is noteworthy that the interviews followed a structured script, ensuring uniformity in data collection.
